Chino Obasi has a vast experience that cuts across, advertising, marketing communications and media. He has worked at various times as Art Director and Creative Director Editor in top marketing communications and branding agencies in Nigeria. He was also a Group Art Editor for Complete Communications, publishers of Complete Football, International Soccer Review and Climax Magazines.
Chino freelanced with the Guardian Newspapers as a Contributing Cartoonist for over a decade. While freelancing for the Guardian, he regularly contributed editorial cartoons and also ran a cartoon strip called ‘Home Affairs’ every Saturday which gained a wide acceptance because of its humor and socio-political relevance
A graphic Designer by training, Chino has undertaken several related courses over the years in marketing, client service, media relations and brand development. Besides being a member of Cartoonists Association of Nigeria CARTAN, Chino is also an Associate Registered Practitioner in Advertising (arpa) of Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria – APCON,
Chino is married with children an enjoys music, dancing and playing table tennis.
