Marvel Mudiaga Onomroba, also known as Don Marvel, is a distinguished visual storyteller who began his career as a cartoonist and has since expanded into the realms of illustration, art design, comic artistry, and animation. A graduate of Mass Communication from the prestigious Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko, Don Marvel’s academic focus was on ‘Cartoon Journalism.’

His journey into cartooning started during his undergraduate years in the university’s P.R.O. department, which paved the way for a professional role at TELL Communications, where he worked from 2012 to 2015. As a versatile freelancer, Don Marvel has contributed to numerous Nigerian newspapers, magazines, and blogs, and his work has also reached international platforms in the UK and beyond. He frequently collaborates with veteran cartoonists both within Nigeria and across the diaspora.

Don Marvel has a prolific portfolio, having illustrated and designed a wide array of storybooks and comics for audiences of all ages. His expertise extends across various industries, including hospitality, advertising, edutech, and finance, where he works as an animator, social media strategist, and consultant.

Currently, Don Marvel is at the helm of CARTOONXXR Studio, his animation venture. He also held the position of online editor for the Cartoonist Association of Nigeria (CARTAN) from 2022 to 2024.
