Marvel Mudiaga Onomroba, popularly known as Don Marvel, is a seasoned visual storyteller and creative powerhouse whose artistry blends wit, social commentary, and striking visuals. His creative journey began as a cartoonist and has flourished into mastery across illustration, art design, comic art, and animation.

A proud graduate of Mass Communication from the prestigious Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko, Don Marvel’s academic thesis broke new ground in Cartoon Journalism. His professional path began while still an undergraduate in his university’s Public Relations Department, later joining TELL Communications from 2012 to 2015, where his craft and voice matured.

Over the years, Don Marvel has become a versatile and respected freelancer, contributing high-impact illustrations and editorial cartoons to numerous Nigerian newspapers, magazines, and blogs. His collaborations with veteran cartoonists—both locally and across the diaspora—have further enriched his creative depth. He has illustrated and designed countless storybooks and comics for children, young adults, and mature audiences, building a body of work that entertains, educates, and inspires.

Beyond the publishing industry, his expertise extends into hospitality, advertising, edutech, and finance, where he serves as an animator, branding strategist, and creative consultant. Don Marvel is the founder of Cartoon Xpressions XTRA (Cartoonxxr), a dynamic creative studio producing cutting-edge animation, comics, and visual storytelling content.

Currently, he works full-time as a Senior Creative Animator and serves as the Online Editor of the Cartoonist Association of Nigeria (CARTAN), where he champions innovation, mentorship, and the preservation of Africa’s cartooning heritage. Driven by a passion for telling bold African stories with global appeal, Don Marvel continues to push creative boundaries while inspiring the next generation of visual storytellers.
